Custom Home Construction
A considered approach to building a home around your vision.
Custom home construction is a secondary part of what we do, delivered with the same planning and coordination as our renovation work — from site and drawings through to the final walkthrough.

Scope of work
- Reviewing the site, the drawings, and what the project is trying to achieve
- Estimating and construction planning ahead of the build
- Coordination with architects, designers, and engineers
- Permitting support through the relevant municipality
- Construction, trade coordination, and site management
- Finishing, deficiency review, and completion
Planning considerations
- Site conditions, servicing, and access
- Zoning and municipal requirements, reviewed with the appropriate professionals
- Design decisions that affect cost and schedule
- Material selections and lead times
- Inspection milestones through the build
- How progress, changes, and decisions are communicated
Planning and construction coordination.
A custom home involves many parties. We keep the drawings, the trades, and the inspection schedule aligned, and we bring questions to you early enough that decisions are not made under pressure. Approvals and timelines are confirmed as the project proceeds rather than promised up front.
We can walk you through examples of work at a similar scope, and put you in touch with references, during your initial conversation. You can also see the standard we build to in our design concepts.

Custom home questions.
Do you work from our architect's drawings?
Yes. We build from your design team's drawings and coordinate with them through construction. If you do not have a design team yet, we can talk about what the project needs.
When should we bring a contractor into the process?
Earlier is usually better. Constructability and sequencing input during design tends to reduce surprises once the drawings are finished.
How long does a custom home take?
It depends on the design, the site, and municipal review. We provide a schedule for your specific project rather than a general timeline.
Let's Talk About Your Space.
Tell us what you're planning, where your property is located, and what you'd like to achieve. We'll come back to you about fit, timing, and the next step.
